| Fungxol ® [Paclitaxel] |
Paclitaxel is regarded as one of the most effective anticancer drug, it can be mainly used to treat ovary cancer, breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and so on. Now we have been studying to produce Fungxol ®, using our pantented strain (Alternaria Alternata var, monosporus CCMC0899, ST-013) and further more, we will produce an oral enteric capsule for clinical use. This will give benefits to the cancer patients.

| Fungxotere™ [Docetaxel] |
Docetaxel is a semithesis anticancer drug. The semithesis intermediate is 10-DAB (10-deacety baccatinⅢ). By submerged fermentation, our pantented strain ST-013 can produce large amount 10-DAB, and our docetaxel (Fungxoter™) is a semithesis product by fungus-producing 10-DAB.

At the course of our research, we
had gotten
a new substance by accidence.
The new substance, alternol , can effectively eliminate tumor cells include leukaemia cell L1210, stomach cancer cell MGC-803 and ovary cancer cell A2780.

ST1663 is a phenazine derivatives. It is a dual TopⅠ/ TopⅡinhibitors.
We produced phenazine by biosynthesis using a stain of bacterium, then synthesis this active molecule (St1663) by two step reaction.

| Alterfungin™ |
Alterfungin is a new substance. We have patented this new substance. It is a β-1, 3-glucan synthesis enzyme inhibitor. It is a powerful anti-fungus agent.

| Oralrudin™ |
Leech has been used as a medicine with a long history, it can promote blood circulation and drain blood stasis. Hirudin, a
peptide is the active agent of Leech. We have developed a new process to produce hirudin by E.coli , with Peking University. The pilot scale study has been completed and approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC. Now we are investigating a new oral preparation, Oralrudin™, the clinical use of Oralrudin™ include deep venous thrombosis, disseminated or diffuse intravascular coagulation, unstable angina and so on.
